Growing Together: Education, Family and Entrepreneurship

School Campaign “Education First”

In this new 2025 school year we reached more than 41 children and adolescents, most of them children of our mothers from the AMEN (Aid for Women in Need) program, as well as 8 first-grade students in extreme poverty at I.E. Everardo Zapata Santillana, who in turn asked that help also be given to other children they knew lacked the economic means. God, in His providence, moved some of our knitting workshop students, who put us in contact with Andrea — she donated backpacks and school supplies through her family business, which were added to our purchases and reached all our children.

12 Years Serving — Happy Anniversary!

We completed 12 years since our founding and, as expected, we celebrated first with a Mass of thanksgiving to God for His providence and guidance. We prayed for each and every member of this great family.

We also took a fellowship trip with members and teachers to the city of Mejía, where we strengthened bonds of friendship, enjoyed the beach, and spent evenings around a bonfire with games and activities. We ask the Lord for many more years, that His work may grow, and that more members will join.

Project “Weaving a Better Future”

In April we began this wonderful project with adolescents from Centro Juvenil Alfonso Ugarte. Miss Rocío Farfán and Marilyn Cáceres taught them crochet and needle knitting, amigurumis, and clothing items.
Over two months they made gifts for their parents: hearts, tulips, Gokus, and Vegetas knitted with effort and love.
An experience that connects handcraft with personal development.

Project “My Entrepreneurial Path”

In May and June we carried out the Project My Entrepreneurial Path with adolescents from Centro Juvenil Alfonso Ugarte in Programs III and IV. The main objective was to train them to develop their business plans based on the technical workshops available at the youth center, such as carpentry, melamine, baking, and metalworking — promoting their autonomy and vision for the future.

Educational Talks and Family Formation

On May 22, as part of our COF (Family Counseling Center) activities, we gave talks at I.E. Manuel Veramendi e Hidalgo:

• “My child is growing up, help!: 10 answers to questions about sexuality” – Atty. Marilyn Cáceres
• “Educating in values in times of change: Integrity, responsibility and empathy” – Lic. Corina Fernández

We also participated in the Holy Mass for International Family Day (May 15, UCSP), reaffirming our commitment to strengthening family bonds.
