CAM: Women's Support Center
For 13 years, the ACERTAR Association has been an active member of the Latin American Network of Women's Support Centers (CAM). This is an essential work area focused on providing comprehensive support to women at risk of abortion. CAM – ACERTAR firmly believes that every life is valuable and deserves to be protected, offering a safe and supportive space for women to make informed and conscious decisions about their pregnancy.
Main objectives
- Offer continuous and personalized emotional support to women, providing a space for active listening, understanding, and empathy. The goal is to strengthen their self-esteem and reduce their stress and anxiety levels.
- Provide respectful and sensitive spiritual accompaniment attuned to each woman’s beliefs, offering a space to reflect on the meaning of life, motherhood, and transcendence.
- Provide accurate and objective information about pregnancy, fetal development, and the resources available to mothers in vulnerable situations.
- Offer practical support to pregnant women, providing them access to health services, legal advice, job training, food support, baby clothing, and other necessary resources to ensure their well-being and that of their child.
- Raise society’s awareness of the value of human life from conception, promoting a culture of respect and support for motherhood, and generating awareness about the consequences of abortion.
Work methodology
ACERTAR's CAM works through trained volunteers to provide accompaniment. Various intervention strategies are used, such as ongoing communication, personalized follow-up, and coordination with other institutions to ensure comprehensive care.

Program impact
Throughout its 13 years, ACERTAR's CAM has positively impacted the lives of hundreds of women and their families, giving them hope, support, and opportunities to build a better future. Thanks to CAM's accompaniment, many women have decided to continue with their pregnancy and have discovered the joy and love of motherhood.
AMEN: Aid for Women in Need
The AMEN program (Aid for Women in Need) is a comprehensive initiative designed to provide support and resources to women in vulnerable situations, especially those who are pregnant or have young children living in precarious conditions. Through personalized attention and a holistic approach, this program addresses the multiple needs of these women, providing everything from immediate assistance to continuous and specialized follow-up for their socio-emotional issues.
Main objectives
- Identify and assess the needs of women in vulnerable situations through a detailed socioeconomic form.
- Detect socio-emotional issues and offer continuous and specialized follow-up on cases.
- Conduct visits to shelters and associations to efficiently direct the aid received.
- Improve the living conditions and well-being of women and their children by offering resources and support adapted to their specific needs.
Work methodology
- Application of the socioeconomic form to gather important data about the woman and her family, identifying their issues and needs.
- Delivery of material support such as clothing, non-perishable food, and medications for both mother and children, based on assessed needs.
- Home visits to gain a deeper understanding of the woman’s and her family’s living context.
- Continuous follow-up to address detected socio-emotional issues.
- Redirection of aid to shelters and associations in need of donations.
Program impact
The AMEN program has a significant impact by providing immediate assistance and comprehensive support to vulnerable women, improving their living conditions and offering support in times of need. This support not only covers basic needs but also addresses socio-emotional issues, contributing to strengthening families and promoting a healthier and more stable environment for children's development.
COF: Family Counseling Center
The Family Counseling Center is dedicated to offering comprehensive care to women and their families in key areas such as psychological, nutritional, and legal support. It is important to provide these services because families need support in all aspects of their lives, from their mental and physical health to their legal and social situation. By offering a safe and accessible space, the COF seeks to provide the necessary tools to face daily problems and build healthy relationships. This comprehensive approach helps improve people's lives. Furthermore, through the COF, socio-educational and social projects are developed to strengthen the community.

- Offer comprehensive guidance to families, addressing the specific needs of mothers, children, and youth to promote their well-being and development.
- Provide accessible psychological support to those who need it, with consultations at affordable costs.
- Channel the expertise of volunteer professionals to offer quality guidance and support to association users.
- Develop and implement socio-educational projects in schools and other community settings to promote the holistic development of society.
- Create and manage a job placement service for women in vulnerable situations, facilitating their employment and promoting their economic independence.

Workshops for Women

Open to the general public, these workshops provide an inclusive space where women of all ages can explore their creativity and acquire tools for entrepreneurship.
